What is Futures Elevated?

Futures Elevated is a student career platform designed to help ambitious students discover practical ways to build experience, develop skills and strengthen their CV before graduation.

Who is Futures Elevated for?

Futures Elevated is built for students and recent graduates who want to improve their career direction, find credible development opportunities and gain practical experience across industries such as finance, consulting, technology, start-ups, real estate and marketing.

What will be included in the Skills Hub?

The Skills Hub will feature curated courses, competitions, virtual internships, certificates, projects and career resources. Each opportunity will be selected based on its relevance, credibility and usefulness for building employability.

Are the opportunities free?

Many of the opportunities we feature will be free, especially student competitions, virtual internships, open-access courses and employer-backed programmes. Where paid opportunities are included, we will aim to make this clear.

What are Startup Roles?

Startup Roles will be a curated board of student-friendly start-up opportunities, including internships, project work, campus ambassador roles and early-career positions with growing companies.

Are Startup Roles live yet?

We are currently building our start-up roles board and speaking with early-stage companies, student founders and university networks. Students can join the waitlist to receive early access when roles are added.

How is Futures Elevated different from a normal job board?

Most job boards focus only on applications. Futures Elevated focuses on helping students build the skills, evidence and experience that make future applications stronger.

Can companies or start-ups work with Futures Elevated?

Yes. We are interested in working with start-ups, employers and student organisations that want to reach ambitious university students through roles, projects, competitions or development opportunities.

How can I join early?

Students can join the waitlist through the website to receive updates on new Skills Hub opportunities, start-up roles and platform launches.

Who founded Futures Elevated?

Futures Elevated was founded by Jago Lees, an Economics student at the University of Nottingham, with experience across venture capital, real estate, student leadership, consulting societies and early-stage business development.
